Description
I’m sellingmy 1987 Jaguar XJ12 Vanden Plas, 82k miles (133,000 Km). It has a V-12 and 3 spd automatic transmission, and 133k kilometers, or about 82k miles on the odometer (it originally comes from Canada, hence the km odometer). It runs incredibly well and is in excellent condition. The tan leather and wood interior is like new with the exception of two cracks in the dash running from the corner of each vent to the windshield. Otherwise, the interior is in excellent to near perfect condition. The engine and transmission are smooth, strong and powerful, producing 290 HP and 310 Lbs-tork. It starts every time, but it does have a very slow oil drip when I don't drive it often, which has been the case lately. All of the interior and exterior lights and electrical bits work, including the antenna, headlight wipers and radio. The air con works well, and the heater/air fan works too. There is no rust on this car, and underneath there’s just a light surface discoloring on some of the driveline parts and exhaust. The chrome is bright and flawless, and if you don’t like the chrome caps on the wheel arches, it looks like they could come off pretty easily. This is one of the most amazing cars I’ve ever driven, and luxury beyond compare. It was originally a Canadian car because you could not get the MkIII XJ with a V-12 in the US, only an inline 6, so there aren’t many of them on the road. I will try and help with shipping as best I can. Asking k obo. Thanks for looking.
