1. I use these things for powering my hitch-mounted winch. The large gauge means I don't have to worry about the amperage draw across them. The clamps are very high quality and don't spark against each other. The build quality is excellent so far. I might gripe that I need another foot or two of length, but that's just my own application. I'm sure using them strictly for jumping won't show the same need. The case is pretty useless to me, though, since I can't get them back in there. :)
2. While I haven’t had to actually jump my car yet (will update review when necessary) the quality of these cables feel about 10x better than my last set. I also love the convenient carrying case that’s included, was able to tuck these away out of sight in my vehicle for whenever they may be needed. Definitely recommend cables of some sort, specifically if you’re living in a colder climate!
3. Great jumper cables. I’ve never owned such heavy duty cables and what a difference. I could t jump a dead battery with some cheap thin cables I had and bought these and jumped the dead battery literally in seconds. Also the length is excellent don’t under estimate this convenience. I jumped from the front of one SUV up over another SUV with no problem. The bag zipper as mentioned by others breaks immediately but I didn’t buy this for the bag so don’t care.
