Vintage 1980’s Penguin Coffee Beverage Dispenser Glass Vacuum Thermos Carafe Urn
Selling a very rare vintage 1980's penguin coffee urn/dispenser.
Dispenser works and is in very good condition overall.  The thermos liner is glass and is good shape.  The back of the dispenser has two or three small cracks (see photos) but does not affect operation.  It also looks like there is a crack under his beak near the dispenser tube.
There is no brand name on this dispenser, only a patent number on the handle (patent # 265043).  Patent was issued in the early 1980's.
It is a glass lined thermos good for hot and cold liquids.  Two tabs on the beak will open up the top for filling and cleaning the parts.  The two rubber/silicone gaskets are in good shape and seal nicely.
To dispense, you push down on the top of his head.  You can lock and unlock the dispenser with a switch on the back of his head.  When turned "on", his eyes change from red to yellow (see last few photos).
He has a sticker of two doves on his front.  It looks like there was another round sticker that was once removed.  He measures 17" tall from feet to head.
Again, this is a very rare item.  I can't seem to find any other example of a penguin urn/dispenser on eBay or on the internet.
